Walter Egan's 1978 smash "Magnet and Steel" will follow him around wherever he goes, deservedly so, but what gets lost sometimes is the absolutely stellar power pop album he made in 1983 called Wild Exhibitions. It featured his last hit "Fool Moon Fire", but didn't get the attention it deserved then, and still doesn't, so we attempt to right that wrong. In this Deep Dive, Walter and I shed light on this hidden gem, while also gliding over his entire career. We love Walter and hope that you will discover an album you must have in your collection.

Walter is such an amazing artist and he’s regarded as such by some of the greatest artists, industry folks and fans alike! I love hearing about musical journey on this! Wow there’s all kinds of stuff I certainly didn’t know! For example I didn’t know Danny Bramson (ears deluxe guy who compiled music soundtracks EVERYONE knows and is one of the GOOD Big Wigs in the industry...just sayin’)was involved in Walter’s early success! There’s some interesting insight on people that have run the music machine from the 70’s up to now and how politics effect great artists. Anyone who is in or considering the music biz as a way of life... you gotta listen. Cool virtuoso David Lindley story! And I love the interviewer! He’s asking great questions! And I of course love hearing Walt’s music as always! This is the real deal spoken from the humble heart of Walter Egan💖LOVE this Walter😃super extra coolness here. You we’re ahead of your time😎and whoever hears this will get so much out of it! Thanks for sharing I’ll pass it along🤓
